Unwavering Organization & Time Management - Juggles deadlines, hearings, and client calls like a legal Cirque du Soleil performer.
Ability to Simplify Complex Legal Issues - Can explain family law in a way that even a client's 10-year-old could understand.

Active Bar Membership in Good Standing in New Jersey - Must be licensed and in good standing with the state bar. (If you need to double-check, you probably don't qualify.)
Family Law Litigation Experience-You should have successfully handled divorce, custody, and support cases-preferably the tough ones. A solid number of years of experience is preferred, but we care more about your real-life experience and prior training than the actual number of years. So, come with your best war stories!!
Courtroom & Trial Experience - Comfortable standing in front of a judge and making persuasive arguments without breaking a sweat.
Track Record of Favorable Case Outcomes - You get results for your clients through trial or strategic settlements.
Knowledge of Family Law in New Jersey - Familiarity with our state-specific statutes, procedures, and case law that impact fathers' rights.
Strong Negotiation & Mediation Skills - Able to resolve cases without unnecessary litigation but ready to go to trial when needed.
Experience Managing a Heavy Caseload - Juggling multiple cases, deadlines, and client expectations is second nature to you.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Mostly Sedentary Work - You'll spend a lot of time at a desk, but don't worry-we won't judge if you pace while thinking or get a desk tread.
Ability to Sit for Extended Periods - Whether it's drafting motions, preparing for trial, or waiting for a judge to rule on a motion that should take five minutes but somehow takes three hours.
Frequent Use of Computer, Office Equipment, and Super Cool Software - Must be comfortable typing, scrolling, and clicking, using double screens, and toggling multiple software platforms all at once while embracing new tech software-- because why work harder instead of smarter?
Strong Verbal Communication Skills - Arguing a case in court, negotiating with opposing counsel, and explaining legal concepts to clients all require a clear, confident voice.
Occasional Travel to Courtrooms & Client Meetings - Be prepared to commute to various courthouses and possibly visit clients outside the office.
Ability to Carry Case Files & Legal Documents - Nothing too strenuous, but you should be able to lift a briefcase, files, and maybe a cup of coffee simultaneously.
Mental Stamina & Focus - Family law cases can be intense, so staying sharp and engaged for long periods is essential.
Professional Appearance - Courtroom and business attire is a must; we fight hard, but we do it looking sharp!
