We have a contract to hire opportunity for a Lead Business Systems Analyst, with 3-5+ years of experience in SQL, Postman and Technical Story Writing. 100% Remote.

Must have requirements:
  • 3-5 years as a technical BSA or developer
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • SQL and Postman experience to query data and understand how the data relates to our use cases (Adhoc queries of databases)
  • Technical Story Writing including acceptance criteria
  • Ability to ask probing questions, take initiative to ensure groomed backlog for the development team
Nice to have:

About this role:
  • This role is to support 2 corporate web squads.
  • The teams work on provider and member portals enhancing features and building new features.
Responsibilities:
  • Attend Scrum ceremonies.
  • Writing technical user stories and working with the product managers to elaborate technical requirements and technical acceptance criteria
  • Maintain a groomed backlog of user stories that are technically groomed.
  • Perform ad hoc queries of databases using SQL and postman to find data attributes and their mappings
  • OT on deployment nights which are usually every other Thursday

Leads the collaboration with the business and technology stakeholders to translate high-level business requirements into functional and non-functional technical requirements that will be used by the design and development teams to build the technical solutions that fulfills the business needs.

Education/Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science).
Requires 5 - 7 years of related experience.

Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.

Technical Skills:
One or more of the following skills are desired.

Experience with Data Processing
Knowledge of Other: health care payer business functions and operations.
Knowledge of Agile Software Development; Software Development Life Cycle
