The general pay range for this position is $101K - $137K per year. Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. Responsibilities
- Act as lead business analyst of large projects through the life cycle including assisting in the development of project plans, supporting the coordination of team staff assignments, and monitoring projects against project plans.
- Serves as lead configurator for RGA underwriting workbench, identifying, and implementing client program requirements (i.e. workflows, user interface, integrations to third party systems, etc.).
- Leads the discovery, development, validation, documentation, and maintenance of business and functional requirements with internal and external partners and vendors. Conducts structured walkthroughs of requirements with business and project team members.
- Provides guidance to project teams to support requirements gathering
- Evaluates business requests to determine feasibility; researches and identifies options.
- May lead acceptance testing to ensure client/user needs are met.
- Leads the evaluation and tracking of new or enhanced solutions to determine potential issues and communicates how problems may affect business and recommends solutions. Considers the business implications of the application of the solution to the current and future business environment.
- Leads and participates in change management activities, Q&A testing, troubleshooting, and investigation.
- Leads and performs task automation and implements process improvements; recommends enhancements that result in increased quality and service.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
Requirements
EDUCAION AND EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years underwriting systems/technology-related experience, such as Business Analysis, Data Analysis, etc.
Preferred:
- LOMA Certification
- ARA Designation

Preferred:
- 8+ years underwriting systems/technology-related experience, such as Business Analysis, Data Analysis, etc.
- 2+ years Life Insurance industry knowledge
- Experience with BI Platforms
Technical Skills
Required:
- Advanced Excel and SQL skills
- Intermediate knowledge and experience with Azure DevOps system or similar collaboration tools
- Intermediate knowledge and experience with PowerBI and Tableau for reporting
- Intermediate skills working with data in common data formats including XML, JSON, HTML, CSV and TXT format
