The Strategy Lead is responsible for leading the development and execution of the company's strategic initiatives. This role involves conducting analyses, developing strategic plans, and working closely with senior leadership to drive business growth and transformation. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and provide strategic insights that inform decision-making at the highest levels of the organization. Strong interpersonal and indirect influence skills will be important in successfully managing across the matrix organization.

Responsibilities
  • Coordination across portfolio of business-driving strategies
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to define and prioritize goals for business-driving strategies.
    • Monitor and report on the progress of cross-team initiatives. Identify and mitigate risks.
    • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment and successful implementation.
    • Prepare concise and impactful summary presentations, suitable for senior leadership.
    • Support select chief of staff efforts within the commercial organization.
  • Leadership in evaluating select mid to long-term strategic initiatives
    • Identify and evaluate new business growth opportunities, industry/consumer trends, and/or competitive threats. Stay abreast of key trends. Ensure alignment with the company's goals.
    • Define workplan and structure complicated evaluations that involve multiple perspectives.
    • Direct analytical work, and interpret to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
    • Facilitate collaboration with subject matter experts to ensure comprehensive review.
    • Develop business cases and prepare presentations to support strategic decision-making.
    • Recommend and manage execution plans, including identification and management of risks.
  • Strategic support for the annual business planning process
    • Define and lead process for capturing and quantifying strategic initiatives influencing the annual financial plans.
    • Summarize business-wide themes through compelling presentations to senior leadership.
    • Partner with finance in logistics throughout the corporate-wide process.
  • Logistics management for quarterly Board of Directors meetings
    • Align with senior leadership on agendas, goals and preparation timelines.
    • Track progress against deliverables, escalate issues, and prepare mitigation plans.
    • Review select content for alignment with broader goals and impact with board-level audience.

Minimum Education/ Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field with 7+ years relevant work experience OR Master's 5+ years relevant work experience; 4+ years of equivalent work experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Education/ Experience

MBA or advanced degree preferred
