Apply advanced React Native skills to architect, customize, and optimize POS applications across platforms, ensuring high performance, scalability, and adaptability to client-specific needs in food service and retail environments.
Serve as the technical expert in client interactions, working with stakeholders to understand their technical requirements, gather feature requests, and translate them into implementable engineering solutions that meet business objectives.
Collaborate with sales teams to provide in-depth technical insights that support sales strategy and demonstrate the technical advantages of our POS solutions, including scalability, integration capabilities, and system reliability.
Work closely with clients and the customer success team to address complex technical challenges, ensure smooth onboarding, and troubleshoot integration issues, providing expert guidance on optimising the POS system to meet operational demands.
Act as a bridge between clients and internal product teams, contributing client feedback and industry knowledge to shape feature development, prioritize engineering efforts, and drive product enhancements that align with evolving POS standards in the industry.
Requirements
Experience: 8+ years in technical roles, including 5+ years in cross-platform mobile application development with React Native. 3+ years working with POS solutions for restaurants, retail, payment, or similar industries is preferred.
Technical Skills: Mastery of React Native, including Redux, optimizations, context API, and modular architecture for high-performance, cross-platform applications. Expertise in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and implementing optimizations for POS-specific requirements.
Client Engagement & Technical Sales Support: Demonstrated experience in technical client engagement, with strong analytical skills for understanding client requirements and supporting sales with engineering insights that highlight solution capabilities.
Industry Knowledge: Extensive understanding of POS systems, including transaction processing, data handling, and technical specifications unique to food service and retail.
Work Authorization Requirement: Only candidates with valid U.S. work authorization (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or work visa holders) will be considered for this role.
