Bird is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead, IT Application Administrator to oversee the administration, support, and optimization of critical business applications. This role will ensure the availability, performance, and security of enterprise applications, collaborating with IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership capabilities, and experience administrating ERP, document management, and business process applications.

What You Will Be Working On
  • Lead the administration, configuration, and support of key enterprise applications, including, Vista (ERP, SharePoint, InEight, MS Dynamics, Procore, OneDrive, Workday, OnBase, and other enterprise applications as required.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to application support teams.
  • Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
  • Take a lead role system upgrades, patches, and integrations to enhance functionality and security.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand application needs and recommend improvements.
  • Work with vendors and third-party service providers to resolve technical issues and implement solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and workflows.
  • Support end-user training and adoption of applications.
  • Manage user access controls and permissions in line with security policies.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution for critical business applications.


What We Are Looking For
  • A Bachelor's degree or certification in a technology area, preferably in Computer Science or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in application administration, IT support, or system management
  • Strong expertise in one or more of the listed enterprise applications
  • Experience leading IT teams or projects
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices and change management processes
  • Familiarity with cloud-based applications and SaaS platforms
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, SQL, etc.) is a plus
  • Experience with Vista would be considered an asset
  • Certifications related to Vista, MS Dynamics, Workday, or SharePoint administration
  • Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; meet the time demands of unpredictable activities; capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals; ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
