Description

Are you interested in fighting climate change to help ensure a brighter future?

To minimize the impacts of climate change, we need to reduce our emissions and remove billions of tons of CO2 already in the atmosphere. At Verdox, we aim to do just that by developing a carbon dioxide removal solution that we can deploy on a global scale. Our proprietary technology removes CO2 directly from the atmosphere and exhaust gas streams. It requires up to 70% less energy than today's systems, is modular, and can run entirely on renewable electricity.

We are a small group of determined innovators taking on one of the world's greatest challenges. Our team is growing quickly and backed by fantastic investors, strategic partners, and advisors. If you want to help combat global warming, come join us.

Verdox seeks to hire a highly motivated Lead Process Engineer to join our Technology team. This position reports to the VP of Product Development. If you're looking to contribute both in innovative process design and hands on field deployments - this role is for you.

  • Lead field deployments of technology for a successful plant operation
  • Apply principles of mass and heat transfer to process and equipment design, including conceptual design, FEED, and detailed engineering

  • Perform process hazard and operable analysis (HAZOP), incorporating key safety and environmental risks and mitigations
  • Partner with finance to continuously update technical economic model and align on capital and operational expenses from conceptual design to EPC to commissioning
  • Productively manage a small team of engineers and work closely with R&D, product development, and business development to understand requirements, set specifications, and deliver a unified view of plant design
