Job Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and technically-savvy Lead Product Manager to drive the development and growth of our community-facing applications, with a complementary focus on platform features and integrations. In this high-impact role, you will work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and business to deliver exceptional product experiences that delight users and deliver value to our community.

The ideal candidate combines a deep understanding of user needs with strong technical acumen and business instincts. You should be comfortable with complex technical environments, able to guide cross-functional teams, and passionate about building intuitive, scalable, and impactful products.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for consumer applications.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle - from ideation and requirements gathering to launch and iteration.
  • Use data-driven insights and user feedback to inform product decisions and continuously improve the user experience.
  • Partner closely with engineering teams to prioritize features, resolve technical tradeoffs, and ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Communicate product plans and progress to stakeholders, executives, and external partners.
  • Mentor and influence junior product managers and cross-functional collaborators.
  • Manage UX resources to develop wireframes.
  • Perform A/B, cohort, and multivariate testing on services in production and iterate feature development.
  • Contribute to training and development initiatives.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

  • 10 years of product management experience, with a strong focus on consumer mobile/web applications.
  • Demonstrated experience in platforms or features that serve both consumers and business customers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • MBA or equivalent business experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to work with engineering teams to make trade-offs and guide technical decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in A/B testing, metrics tracking, and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.


Nice to Have:
  • Familiarity with APIs, SDKs, and platform ecosystems.
  • Background in startups or fast-paced product-led organizations.


Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
  • International travel may be required to support ICANN-related meetings for lengths of 7-10 days per trip, approximately three times per year, on different continents.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 20% of the time, or as needed.
  • Ability to travel without restrictions globally, frequently with limited notice.
  • Comfort with an international work environment that may require availability outside normal business hours, including weekends.
  • Work is performed in a normal office environment with limited privacy and some background noise.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee regularly sits and is frequently required to talk or hear, and use hands and arms to reach, handle, or feel. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
