POSITION SUMMARY
A clinically competent C A certified radiology technologist who demonstrates professionalism and is able to operate radiological
equipment in a safe and efficient manner ensuring maximum quality of film, patient safety, and accuracy of information for
interpretation. Provides care services to a critically ill through rehabilitating, newborn through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional and developmental age of the individual served. Functions as a leader of the interdisciplinary diagnostic radiology team. This position requires providing supervision/coordination of department operational activities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Education
Minimum (Required)
High School graduate.
Accredited Radiology technologist school graduate.
Work Experience
Minimum (Required)Three years experience in an acute health care environment.
Licenses and Certifications
Minimum (Required)
Current C RT, ARRT Certification
Current Fluoroscopy
Current BLS-C Card (AHA)

Pay Transparency
The hourly rate range for this position is $43.20 - $58.08. - Perform all functions of staff technologist as required
- Perform other related duties as requires such as assisting in budget preparations and recommend revisions of policy and procedure manual as required
- Maintain prescribed standards of quality of work and relate these functions to the total mission of Methodist Hospital
- Keep up to date with changes in the field of radiology technology by study, attending refresher courses and seminars as necessary
- Perform daily operations in a courteous, honest, and compassionate manner.
- Comply with all Methodist Hospital Policies and Procedures and all departmental routines and procedures
- Demonstrate good judgment and the ability to make sound decisions, paying special attention to small details.
- Alertness to detect conditions dangerous to patients and personnel.
- Good leader, who personnel will follow and respect.
