Beacon Veterinary Specialists is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in directing patient flow, caseload, and clinic resources to ensure efficient and effective veterinary hospital operations. You will demonstrate leadership qualities, working closely with supervisors and the Manager of Clinical Services to provide guidance and support to clinical teams.

- Registered Veterinary Technician with at least 5 years of experience required
- Experience in an ER/Specialty clinic setting preferred
- Associates degree or equivalent
Responsibilities:
- Help provide patient care and assist in other departments when needed.
- Allocate resources and delegate workloads effectively.
- Support the flow of triage by helping to direct the team.
- Coordinate incoming emergencies.
- Assist supervisors with feedback, instruction, and follow-up to staff.
- Delegate and monitor "slow day" projects, including staff training.
- Support rounds during shift changes.
- Ensure all documentation and patient charges are accurate, complete, and follow hospital policy.
- Attend required meetings, including training-related, monthly Clinical Staff Meetings, and Quarterly Clinical Services Leadership Meetings.
- Provide information to Clinical Services Supervisors, Client Services Manager, and Clinical Services Manager regarding client and referring DVM concerns.
