Description:

We have a 12 month contract to hire opportunity for a Lead Security Architect. 100% Remote.

Notes: This role will be working with stakeholders for consultation, establishing design solutions and offering support to fill gaps as needed
  • Up to 25% of time spent consulting others on authorization, authentication and privileged access management as it relates to our tools and processes (Ping SSO, Duo MFA, CyberArk PAM, Virtual Directories Radiant Logic and Azure)
  • Up to 50% of time on project work
  • Up to 25% of time on service design

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Certs: CISSP, Azure Fundamentals or AWS, Togaf or SABSA
Required Experience: 5-7 years of experience in identity auth/auth, Architectural Design and PAM
Preferred Experience: CyberArk PAM highly preferred, Ping SSO, Duo MFA, Virtual Directories Radiant Logic and Azure
Disqualifiers: Lack of architectural design experience

Job Profile Summary
Leads the vision, innovation, standards, and systems architecture to support Identity & Access Management (IAM). Executes software security standards and implementation strategies, including partnering with enterprise architects, applications, and platform teams to design robust, integrated architectures for Identity & Access Management systems and solutions. Partners with senior leadership to develop and communicate the long-term vision and strategic plans for IAM. Analyzes business requirements to develop technical working solutions and associated frameworks.

Education/Experience: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science). Requires 5 - 7 years of related experience. Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.

Technical Skills: One or more of the following skills are desired.

Experience with Other: Experience in identity and access management tools like Active Directory, Okta, Ping, etc. Knowledge of Other: Identity as a Service (IDaaS) solutions and Cloud Computing

  • Analyzes the current state architecture, identify the gaps, and determines the most suitable recommendations for improvement using IAM best practices against industry standards
  • Creates and ensures standard documentation related to identity processes and procedures is completed Creates and builds best in class security solutions as it relates to required IAM capabilities for new large, cross platform projects
  • Provides subject matter expertise and guidance on associated identity solutions, modules, IAM applications, platforms, frameworks, tools, active directory, privileged account management, synchronization, provisioning, public key infrastructure, and other relevant identity topics
  • Establishes the strategy and vision in the designs and implementation of enhanced security models and other applications used for Identifies Authentication and Authorization
  • Ensures compliance with corporate policies and procedures, ethical practices, and regulatory guidelines
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Ability to communicate technology vision into visual interpretation.
  • Adapt communications to that audience can understand.
  • Ability to formulate a tool rationalization structure, considering capabilities, risks and cost benefit analysis.
