Lead Software Architect

Location: 100% Remote

Salary: 175k-190k + Bonus

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Architect to oversee the design and development of our software systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software architecture and engineering, and will be responsible for leading the technical team, defining the architecture, and ensuring the quality and scalability of our applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the software architecture design process for new and existing applications.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define technical requirements and architecture.
• Develop and maintain architectural documentation and guidelines.
• Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of applications.
• Mentor and guide junior developers to promote best practices in coding and design.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform.
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions with the development team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Architect or similar role with a strong understanding of software development processes.
• Expertise in Python and Django frameworks.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and architecture.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Experience in designing and implementing REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Java and Spring frameworks is a plus.
• AWS Solutions Architect Certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of authentication mechanisms and security protocols.
