- Identify and evaluate technologies for suitability
- Help determine service architecture
- Investigate and improve application performance
- Provide strong technical leadership
- Lead in setting the quality standards for the team's technical work, from code to software designs, while raising the skill level of less experienced team members.
What you need to succeed:
- Java, SQL
- Spring, Spring Boot
- REST API / JSON
- Relational database experience (preferably Oracle)
- Familiarity with SOA, containerization, Linux
- Big data, analytics, machine learning experience
- Experience integrating with other components and systems at high volume
- Ability to work on distributed teams
- Vertica experience
- Security and threat modeling experience
- CI/CD and DevOps (GitLab, Kubernetes, Helm, kustomize, New Relic)
- Python, Scala
- NoSQL
- Data warehouse/processing/analytics experience: Snowflakes, DataBricks, GCP BigQuery, nifi, airflow, dbt, kafka/pulsar, Apache Spark, Flink
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum (I.e. product owner)
