Description:

Seeking a Lead Software Engineer to develop software solutions aligned with project requirements and enhancing existing systems. This role involves designing, testing, and maintaining software applications, ensuring high-quality and effective performance. The Software Engineer will collaborate across departments, utilizing various programming languages and technologies to build, test, and deploy scalable software solutions within an agile environment

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Job Responsibilities:
Develop software solutions that meet defined requirements and business needs.
Design and implement software unit tests and integration testing to ensure software quality.
Create, design, and maintain test automation suites for efficient testing processes.
Develop processing platforms using configuration management technologies.
Work within an agile environment, testing and refining software development methodologies.
Perform ongoing maintenance, updates, and support for existing systems and platforms.
Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, business users, project managers, and other engineers to develop optimal solutions.
Provide recommendations for continuous improvement (CI) to enhance software functionality and user experience.
Support testing, customer acceptance activities, and deployment, including preparing documentation and

conducting training as needed.
Write, debug, and maintain software code in languages such as Java, C++, and Python, translating business

needs into executable computer tasks.

Required Skills:
Proficiency in developing software applications using programming languages, particularly Java, C++, and Python.
Strong knowledge of test-driven development and experience with automated testing frameworks.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on quality and detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in an agile/Scrum environment.
Capable of managing multiple priorities effectively with minimal supervision.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance

Desired Skills
Familiarity with test automation suites and configuration management technologies.
Experience working cross-functionally and communicating technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to deliver on multiple priorities, adapt to project changes, and apply best practices.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering,

or a related field.
Ten(10) years of software engineering experience, with a background in designing, debugging, and testing software

applications
