Lead Solutions Engineer

ECS is seeking a Lead Solutions Engineer to work in our Fairfax, VA office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon additional funding.

We are currently seeking an organized, detailed oriented Solutions Engineer to Lead development and engineering of a cyber security related data analysis and AI solution. In this role, the Solutions Engineer will embed in an existing cyber security engineering team to understand technical priorities and pain points, and collaborating with other subject matter experts to design and build a solution that will leverage existing cyber security workflow data.

Responsibilities:

• Finding opportunities to use data and metrics to inform decisions and create changes to improve customer insights and overall solution efficiency
• Working with data analysis and AI experts to implement solutions which leverage complex logic and machine assisted insights to provide decision support
• Designing and building a solution which will support an active production environment
• Hands on engineering and development which will include use of commercial cyber solutions, open source libraries and products, and Cloud Native solutions.
• Building, evolving, and maintaining a development environment

• Understanding of Git and how to use it
• Familiarity working in Agile / SCRUM Development environments
• Experience with bash and/or PowerShell
• Experience with AWS and Azure Cloud Environments
• Experience with Cloud Native Architecture
• Experience with Data Analysis solutions
