Lead Superintendent

Summary
A well-established general contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee large-scale ground-up commercial construction projects valued at $10M and above. Project types include commercial office buildings, retail developments, and hospitality facilities. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who excels in managing field operations, subcontractor coordination, and delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage complete project schedules from preconstruction through final delivery (MS Project preferred)
• Lead daily field operations, coordinating with subcontractors, engineers, and foremen
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards, quality expectations, and design specifications
• Oversee jobsite logistics, including labor, materials, and equipment management
• Monitor and control job costs, productivity metrics, and schedule performance
• Resolve on-site challenges such as weather delays, site conflicts, and emergencies

Required Experience

• Proven track record as a Lead Superintendent on commercial ground-up projects valued at $10M+
• Strong subcontractor management and schedule tracking experience
• Expertise in coordinating field crews and managing on-site operations

Preferred Skills & Education

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in commercial construction supervision
• Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office, and scheduling tools
• Strong leadership, communication, and cost control capabilities
