Nestle USA, Inc. seeks a Lead Technical Project Manager in Waddell AZ

Duties: Lead all aspects of the capital investments relating to the company's fixed assets. Coordinate and run resources, both personnel and funding, to ensure the project or mission fulfills and meets the set objectives defined within the approved scope. Ensure that all projects are accurately run according to standard methodologies. Guide the team on principles of ethical conduct on behalf of the community, consumer, company, and the engineering profession. Ensure that all projects are sustainable and designed for the long term, resulting in a positive impact on the company ROIC. Ensure that all assets are well designed and fit the business purpose through applying new technologies, validated principles, thorough design reviews and basic science. Support or handle all official Value Engineering Analysis (VEA) studies, and a VEA approach is taken to challenge the design in order to find optimal solutions. Ensure safe work sites at all times and installations that are easy to operate, clean and maintain as well as guaranteeing after commissioning the safe, consistent manufacture/distribution of quality products. Ensure that the project scope is achieved within the agreed cost and timing. Ensure that the operators, mechanics, electricians etc. are effectively trained and that the transfer of the equipment is both smooth and efficient. Complete a final report on all projects and ensure that this is circulated to the key partners.

Salary: $175812.00 - $185812.00 per year

Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Food Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field plus a minimum of 15 years of experience in the job offered or in project engineering in high speed beverage bottling and maintenance management.

Position requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Supervisory experience in managing internal and external project team members;
  • Experience in building a green field production facility;
  • Experience in Plant design and construction;
  • Experience in equipment and construction purchasing contracts;
  • Experience in permitting requirements;
  • Experience in hygienic and sanitary design and engineering;
  • Experience working with 3A standards;
  • Experience in CIP systems;
  • Experience working with communication, networking, and organizational change;
  • Experience working with financial analysis and relevant business drivers;
  • Experience in CAPEX budgeting and preparation;
  • Experience working with MS Office, MS Project, MS Excel, Basic AutoCAD, and Visio;
  • Experience working with Capital Investment Approval & Tracking tool;
  • Experience in TPM and Lean manufacturing; and
  • High speed blow molding packaging experience.

Domestic and International travel required up to 75% of time.
