You'll be responsible for delivering engaging training sessions, both remotely and in person, while continuously refining our training materials, documentation, and processes. Vori is seeking a proactive and highly skilled Lead Trainer to educate and empower our customers as they adopt the Vori system. You'll be responsible for delivering engaging training sessions, both remotely and in person, while continuously refining our training materials, documentation, and processes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, quickly gains product mastery, and has a passion for helping others succeed.
What You'll Do
- Customer Training & Enablement: Lead training sessions for new customers, ensuring they feel confident using the Vori platform from day one.
- Training Content & Documentation: Improve, maintain, and update training materials, user guides, and best practices as the product evolves.
- Product Collaboration & QA: Work closely with Product to test new features, provide feedback, and develop clear customer-facing documentation.
- Cross-Team Coordination: Partner with Marketing on feature releases and ensure internal teams are aligned on new product updates.
- Trainer Development: Keep part-time trainers up to speed on product changes, best practices, and new training methodologies.
- Adaptable Teaching Methods: Tailor training to different learning styles, ensuring that all users-regardless of technical ability-can succeed.
- Customer-Focused Approach: Deliver trainings with patience, empathy, and a strong ability to simplify complex concepts.
- 3+ years in customer training, teaching, implementation, instructional design, or a similar role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - clear, concise, and engaging.
- Ability to teach diverse audiences effectively, adapting to various learning styles - and understands how people think.
- Quick learner with product mastery, curious and asks thoughtful questions.
- Strong emotional intelligence (EQ) and customer-facing bedside manner.
- Detail-oriented and process-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment - excited to build from the ground up and have a real impact.
- Coachable and open to feedback, with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Familiarity with grocery industry operations and workflows.
- Open to travel to customer locations across the Bay Area and around the US
