As a Lead on the Trust & Safety Process Standards team, you will focus on enforcing content compliance & regulations by managing projects and audits on our content sharing platforms. Based out of our Montreal office, reporting directly to the Manager of Trust & Safety Process Standards , you will develop a strong understanding of the product, platform, and management tools assigned to them. The role also involves extensive interaction with a diverse group of internal teams in ensuring appropriate content policies are being effectively developed & enforced. Finally, you will also focus on leading a team of analysts who focus on Trust and Safety for various company product(s) and websites.

What you will be doing:
  • Maintain product(s) compliance based on a defined set of guidelines and processes.
  • Answers team member questions, helps with team member problems, and is responsible for team member work for quality, and guideline compliance.
  • Communicates deadlines to team members and monitors important metrics.
  • Manage the employee lifecycle (recruitment, retention, performance management, career plan) working closely with the Manager.
  • Conduct training for new employees, provide support for team members, including presenting team goals and identifying areas requiring improvement.
  • Conduct team meetings to update members on the latest news and updates to compliance workflows or guidelines.
  • Effectively distribute work within a team, plan and manage resources, and ensure redundancy planning.
  • Preparing and delivering semi-annual employee reviews. Working with your manager to define new objectives.
  • Being a resource for team members in case of any issues, and escalating cases to relevant teams.
  • Managing one-time project planning and supervision.

What you will need to be successful:

Must haves:
  • 3+ years' experience with Trust and Safety and leadership
  • Attention to detail, proactive approach.
  • Ability to make well-balanced decisions reinforcing required compliance while being an effective advocate for our trust & safety standards.
  • Exceptional ability to interpret, explain, and teach compliance policies, procedures, and related documentation.
