Job Description Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Learning and Development Specialist to design, deliver, and evaluate impactful learning experiences that drive employee development and organizational success. This role combines expertise in instructional design with hands-on training delivery, both in-person and virtually, to ensure employees achieve their full potential.

The pay range for this position is expected to be $90k-$110k annually however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders, including leadership teams and subject matter experts, to identify training needs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Instructional Design: Create innovative learning solutions using various instructional techniques such as simulations, team activities, group discussions, role-playing, videos, and lectures to enhance learner engagement.
  • Program Development: Design and coordinate training programs aligned with organizational goals, including onboarding, leadership development, and skill-building initiatives.
  • Workday Learning Administration: Manage the learning catalog in Workday Learning, including scheduling training offerings, configuring courses, assigning learning paths, managing enrollments, and generating reports to measure program effectiveness.
  • Training Delivery: Facilitate engaging training sessions for new hires and ongoing professional development, both in-person and through virtual platforms, ensuring accessibility and effectiveness across diverse audiences.
  • Evaluation and Improvement: Measure the effectiveness of training programs through observations, metrics, testing, and feedback; continuously refine content to improve outcomes.
  • Content Mastery: Develop expertise in company products, services, tools, policies, and procedures to deliver accurate and relevant training.
  • Special Projects: Lead training-related initiatives such as process enhancements, mandatory state or federal requirements, or new product launches in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Focus Groups and Action Planning: Facilitate post-training focus groups to gather insights for continuous improvement from an employee perspective.


Qualifications
  • Proven experience in instructional design and delivering training in both virtual and in-person formats.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional methodologies.
  • Proficiency with eLearning tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
