Legal Counsel

Summary: As part of the Legal Team, She/He will be the Legal counsel for industrial business units across North America to which she/he will provide pragmatic and timely support on a wide range of business law matters linked to industrial projects.

• Provide accurate and timely legal guidance and support in a variety of legal topics such corporate, environmental, labor law, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance etc.)
• Collaborate with management to devise efficient strategies, dealing with complex matters with multiple stakeholders and forces
• Ensure compliance with the internal controls, statutory regulations and other formalities
• Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations
• Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advise on possible legal issues
• Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust
• Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company's full legal rights
• Development of legal strategy and management of disputes and litigations;
• Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization
• Conduct your work with integrity and responsibility
• Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation
• Promoting the legal department within the company: developing and implementing consistent processes and templates to be used by internal clients; providing frequent trainings; raising legal awareness;
• Implement group compliance measures in specific areas such competition law and economic sanctions, specify, draft and implement local governance and performance of compliance trainings
