Are you a business-minded, solution-oriented attorney? If so, come join our legal team! In this role, you will work directly with many areas of the business and in many legal disciplines. This includes the review and negotiation of a myriad of commercial contracts, and exposure to employment law, privacy law, export and sanctions regulations, and much more. The Legal Counsel is crucial in driving a streamlined approach to completing various legal tasks through facilitating relationships with key members of NetSPI teams. Apply to join us today!

Responsibilities:
  • Providing legal support to the sales teams, including, drafting, reviewing, redlining, and negotiating commercial agreements
  • Advising internal teams on areas of risk for contractual and other business arrangements, including recommendations for mitigating risks
  • Researching key legal and regulatory trends and understanding business impact
  • Performing contractual and administrative requirements that are complex and varied in nature, utilizing creativity, originality, and technical skills
  • Understanding the core products and services offered and explaining legal terms and conditions in a meaningful, understandable manner to internal teams and customers
  • Assisting with the creation of legal policies and other key initiatives as needed
  • Assisting with research of global laws and regulations, including laws affecting data privacy and information security standards and advising on business impact
  • Assisting with matters related to employment law as directed by the VP, Legal
  • Assisting with other legal tasks as directed by the VP, Legal

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and currently licensed to practice law
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of post-law school experience, preferably in-house or at a law firm
  • Have a high degree of discretion and judgment, with a focus on confidentiality, ethics, and integrity
  • A self-starter with the initiative to suggest and drive process improvement

The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $115,000.
