Responsibilities
The Florida State University College of Law seeks a senior Legal Writing and Research program instructor (Legal Writing Professor). The program is a first-year, two semester course that both addresses research and writing skills and requires students to integrate legal analysis into their writing projects. This position will also teach the Legal Writing course for foreign lawyers pursuing an LL.M. degree in American Law. This is a nine-month teaching faculty position.
Qualifications
Applicants must have a law degree from an ABA-accredited law school, excellent academic records, and demonstrated strong writing abilities. A minimum five years of experience teaching Legal Writing is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience teaching foreign lawyers (LL.M. students) is strongly preferred.

Anticipated Salary Range
Anticipated salary range $80,000 - negotiable, depending upon experience. Salaries are competitive with those for similar positions at other law schools.
