- Monitor and report Floor action to the Member and the Chief of Staff
- Manage, mentor, and supervise the Member's legislative staff
- Coordinate responses to all legislative mail
- Communicate and strategize with District Director on policy initiatives targeted towards constituents
- Coordinate the Member's Appropriations Requests
- Write Floor remarks
- Manage all the Member's Committee activities

- Comfortable making swift decisions and advising a Member of Congress on important issues
- Able to manage a team of staff members and accomplish desired outcomes
- Strong time management and organization skills

- Bachelor's degree in government, political science, public policy, or related field
- A demonstrated interest in public service
