Job Number: R0216285 Liaison Officer The Opportunity: The Liaison Officer will be a member of a five-person Booz Allen team in the National Capital Region ( NCR ) that provides analytical, policy , or program implementation and administrative support to the U.S. European Command. You will work with a task lead and support two co-chairs in promoting U.S. interagency efforts to counter influence in Europe. You will work directly for the co-chair and with other Booz Allen USEUCOM liaisons. You'll coordinate closely with four other team colleagues in the NCR and in Stuttgart, Germany. What You'll Work On: * Serve as advisor to USEUCOM on USG efforts to counter influence in Europe.
* Coordinate with other USG stakeholders, including with multiple DoD components or other civilian departments or agencies and intelligence communities, to scope requirements, develop way ahead, and implement activities in support of co-chair guidance.
* Synchronize efforts of USG clients and other stakeholders, including through close collaboration with Booz Allen team members supporting to develop high-impact outcomes for the co-chairs.
* Analyze and report on complex foreign issues, initiatives, legislative matters, executive orders, agreements, and open-source and classified reporting on these issues.
* C ond uct research and analysis and draft concepts, analytical notes, after action reports, briefing materials, and monthly status reports.
* Prepare and deliver written and verbal briefings, concepts, or proposals to USG co-chair representatives and other stakeholders.
* Interact and e nga ge with stakeholders to understand current capabilities and processes, relevant authorities, agencies, policies , procedures, best practices, and lessons learned.
* Interpret processes and document lessons learned and best practices for program management.
* Execute extensive and politically delicate and intra-agency coordination and coordinate with offi cia ls of executive branch agencies to resolve dynamic issues.
* Accompany, support, and otherwise assist responsible DoD offi cia ls when they represent and advocate for equities at various meetings, as requested.
* Develop and deliver program updates as required for co-chairs.
* Read, write, and communicate professionally and effectively across the civilian and military spectrum from the Action Officer to the General Officer or Flag Officer and civilian equivalent levels.
* Plan, manage, and coordinate all phases of an e nga gement program, including designing, developing, and executing workshops, roundtables, and senior executive meetings in the NCR and overseas.
* Oversee event or e nga gement planning and implementation, including coordinating document development and production, participation, facilitation, staffing, and managing security, administrative, and logistical requirements. Join us. The world can't wait. You Have: * 5+ years of experience with demonstrated effectiveness and success in the mission areas related to European security and international security issues
* Experience working in a complex and dynamic multi-stakeholder bureaucratic environment, including with DoD and broader interagency organizations and their respective missions, structures, authorities, capabilities, resources, processes, and cultures
* Experience managing projects and teams with various stakeholders and personnel
* Knowledge of U.S. government roles, responsibilities, and missions related to international security, defense, military, and foreign affairs
* Knowledge of European counterinfluence and U.S. and international partner efforts to address it
* Ability to use meticulous attention to detail in written and verbal communications for executive levels
* Ability to recognize and manage potential opportunities and risks and proactively develop creative solutions and execute problem-solving actions
* Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
* TS/SCI clearance
* Bachelor's degree in International Affairs Nice If You Have: * Possession of excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
