Job Overview
The LCSW Psychotherapist applies psychological/counseling principles in the following areas assessment, clinical interventions, research, training, case management, consultation, program development and supervises non-licensed staff (when applicable). Responsibilities will include diagnosis, evaluation, treatment, discharge planning and supervise mental health services provided to participants. Provides a variety of interventions such as individual, group, couple and family therapy in the PACE setting. Involves integrating behavioral health services with the PACE interdisciplinary team and community agencies to ensure appropriate participant care as outlined in the care plan.

Minimum Requirements
- Professional Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker by the California Behavioral Science Board.
- Minimum 2-4 years' experience working with the elderly or disabled adults.
- Master's in Social Work required.
- Must maintain current BLS (If not current, must obtain current BLS within first six months of association with AltaMed Health Services Corporation).
- BLS certification required.
- Direct experience with evidence based treatments for individual, group & families therapy sessions (Coping with death/dying, Coping with Stress, Cancer support discussion, etc.).
