San Francisco Stress and Anxiety Center prioritizes our therapists, offering a positive environment with flexible scheduling. We provide our therapists with resources such as consultation groups, clinical billing, and scheduling support, as well as continuing education credits and career development opportunities. If desired, you can also supervise an Associate Therapist or Psych Assistant. Employees who work 30 hours or more per week are eligible for health insurance coverage. Responsibilities
As a therapist at SF Stress and Anxiety Center, your role will include the following responsibilities:
Maintain a caseload of at least 10 clients per week, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our community
Dedicate a minimum of 15 hours per week to client sessions and administrative tasks, ensuring efficient and effective management of your workload
Keep your professional license up to date with either the California Board of Behavioral Sciences or the California Board of Psychology, demonstrating your commitment to professional standards and ongoing development
Complete progress notes in a timely manner, ensuring the continuity of care for clients and providing accurate and comprehensive documentation
Attend mandatory yearly meetings, which serve as an opportunity to stay informed about any policy or procedural changes within the organization. These meetings also facilitate connections with your colleagues
Qualifications
Have a Doctorate (Ph.D., PsyD) or Master's in Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or Social Work from an Accredited University
California Psychologist License or California LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC License
Have relevant clinical experience using Evidence-Based Practices for psychosocial issues such as anxiety, depression, family dynamics, communication, life transitions, and more
Understand the HIPAA requirements for mental health records and substance abuse records, and maintain appropriate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards
Are excited to collaborate with and learn from other clinicians
Have a strong work ethic
Are technologically-savvy
Are committed to cultural humility and inclusion
