The Role:

The Licensing Manager is responsible for overseeing, managing, and ensuring compliance with all existing licensing agreements at PopSockets. This role involves working closely with design, legal, and other relevant departments to guarantee that all terms and conditions outlined in the agreements are adhered to and that PopSockets remains compliant with licensing requirements.

Responsibilities
    • Manage portfolio of license contracts and ensure compliance within each contract including but not limited to - contract review, internal set up, renewal timelines, payment scheduling, manufacturer compliance, global rights management, royalty reporting support etc.
    • Develop tracking tools related to finance, legal, compliancy, licensees to update client and senior management on overall state of the business
    • Track performance metrics and support in license forecasting
    • Support the development of new partnerships and initiatives to drive the success of the licensing programHelp develop licensing and sales presentations
    • Assist product development, marketing, and oversee licensing approvals
    • Manage 1 direct report with opportunity to grow the team as the business grows
    • Help manage and strengthen relationships with Licensees as well coordination of other licensing activity
    • Monitor industry trends and apply to the licensing programRemain highly organized and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
    • Act as an ambassador for PopSockets brand


Requirements:
    • 3-5 years of experience in a licensing and/or brand partnerships management position
    • An in-depth understanding of the licensing industry landscape
    • Highly organized and possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
    • Self-starter and adaptable with the ability to stay focused despite changing conditions and workload
    • Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness to ensure work quality
    • Identify and resolve problems in a timely and thoughtful manner
    • Utilize excellent interpersonal and negotiation skillsProcess oriented with strong attention to detail
    • Strong analytic skills and experience interpreting quantitative and qualitative data and research


$110,000 - $125,000 a year

15% bonus potential
