We're looking for an ambitious litigation attorney to join our growing team! You will have the opportunity to learn from senior trial attorneys while performing legal research, drafting court documents, and attending depositions and hearings. Our standards for legal research and writing are very high, and excellent communication skills are required in all aspects of this position. If you've successfully completed law school, passed the FL bar exam, and are seeking an opportunity to practice law with plenty of room for growth, this may be the job for you!
Responsibilities
Organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staff
Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice
Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings
Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action
Resolve cases efficiently by using communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegals
Qualifications
Candidates must have passed the bar exam
Has a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
Solid communication skills and problem-solving skills required in order to work with clients, staff members and senior attorneys
Willingness to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base
