Litigation Attorney

Direct Counsel is looking for an Associate Attorney for a litigation position with an excellent boutique law firm located in Glendale, CA. Ideal candidates will have a strong litigation background and have a desire to join a firm specialized in general civil litigation matters. Responsibilities:

• Draft pleadings, discovery, memoranda, motions and other legal documents
• Handle litigation matters from inception through trial, including taking depositions, attending mediations and settlement negotiations
• Make independent decisions and advising clients on pre-litigation and litigation matters

• Work with experts
• Legal research

• Other projects, as assigned

Qualifications:

• Motivated with the desire to achieve top level results
• The ability to work well with a team as well as work well independently

Required Experience for the position:

Must have a minimum of 4 plus years of solid experience in litigation in State courts
