Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in civil litigation cases from initial consultation through trial.
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare legal documents including motions and pleadings.
- Manage case files, ensuring all deadlines are met and documentation is organized.
- Participate in discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests.
- Attend hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials as required.
- Develop and implement effective legal strategies tailored to each case.
- Mentor junior attorneys and support staff in legal practices and case management procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance overall team performance and client service.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in civil litigation, including trial experience.
- Strong research and writing skills with a proven track record in motion practice and discovery management.
- Excellent case management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and mentor junior lawyers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
