Job Title: RN Behavioral Health

Job Specialty: RN Behavioral Health

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM, Five 8-hour shifts per week, every other weekend

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Experience: Minimum 2 years of Behavioral Health Unit RN experience with an adult population

License: Current RN License (RI or compact)

Certifications: BLS required

Must-Have:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Behavioral Health Nursing with adult patients
- Current RN License valid in RI or a compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Job Description:

- Provide comprehensive care to adult patients in an acute psychiatric setting.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and perform clinical assessments.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report changes in condition to the healthcare team.
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Participate in patient and family education and discharge planning.
- Maintain professional standards of nursing care in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
