Responsibilities
Originate, originate, originate!
Benefit from our relationship with the top lenders in the country to offer the best speed, service, and technology
Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with potential new business referral partners such as realtors, builders, bank colleagues, and the community at large
Work closely with your team and collaborate on leads, training, and focusing on how to get better every day
Collect and analyze prospective buyer income, assets and liabilities, background checks, and loan application documents to determine creditworthiness
Counsel borrowers to understand the pros and cons of different loan products to determine which is best for them
Interact with customers, realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction
Review the loan process by monitoring loan status, term conformity, and regulatory guidelines
Exceed our production standards by maintaining an active pipeline
Leads are provided for Loan Officers looking to add to their book of referral business
Take advantage of being coached up by our seasoned team of industry leaders
Qualifications
Who works well in this model:
Seasoned professionals who already have referral sources established
Mortgage professionals looking to learn how to create a self-sustaining business
Loan Officers who want to grow go from 2-3 loans per month to over 10 loans + per month
MLOs switching from retail and correspondent who no longer want to lose deals to brokers
Individuals who are motivated by a multiple six-figure income and have a desire to work for a top mortgage broker in the New York Metropolitan market
Must have strong work ethic, positive attitude and demonstrate effort to be successful
Individuals who value teamwork and want to take their career to the next level
Motivated by a boundless six-figure income
Experience working for a broker is a plus but we have the ability to coach and train anyone with the right attitude
Must be proficient with technology and familiar with mortgage software - Salesforce experience is a plus but not required
Must have a current NMLS license in NY but we can help get you licensed in our other 32 states
This is an on-site position so must be able to commute to Lake Success on a daily basis
