Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Loan Servicing Manager to oversee our loan servicing operations. The ideal candidate will lead a team in managing loan portfolios, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will play a critical role in optimizing processes and enhancing the overall borrower experience.

What you will be doing:
  • Team Leadership: Build, manage and mentor a team of loan servicing specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee the daily operations of loan servicing, including payment processing, escrow management, and customer inquiries.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to loan servicing. Conduct regular audits to maintain compliance.
  • Customer Service: Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, resolving escalated borrower issues promptly and effectively.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy in loan servicing.
  • Reporting: Prepare and analyze reports on loan performance, servicing metrics, and operational efficiency, presenting findings to senior management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including underwriting, collections, and compliance, to ensure a seamless loan servicing experience.
  • Training and Development: Design and facilitate training programs for team members to enhance their knowledge of loan products, servicing protocols, and customer service best practices.

What you'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in loan servicing or operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of subprime lending practices and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in loan servicing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
