Qualifications

- Senior level project management experience. (Project Manager, Project Director, etc.)
- 10+ years of directly related professional experience
- Experience on construction projects valued greater than $100,000,000.
- Experience in heavy earthworks construction, highway construction, bridge construction, utility construction and traffic control.
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Master's degree in business administration (MBA) is preferred .
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset.
- Public-private partnership (PPP, 3P, or P3) experience is an asset.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
- Extensive Change Management experience.
- Experience leading negotiations with clients.
- Construction and/or engineering experience in the region.
- Strong public speaking skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build relationships with diverse groups of people.
- Display a high level of integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

- Coordinating the local day-to-day aspects of the project work in relation to the Metro Flood Diversion Authority.
- Assist the project team with managing the schedule, cost, quality, and risk during all phases of the project life cycle.
- Coordinate communications between the Contractor (ASN Constructors) and the Fargo-Moorhead Metro Flood Diversion Authority.
- Work with the RRVA CEO to negotiate fair solutions to change events and other issues with Fargo-Moorhead Metro Flood Diversion Authority.
- Review various project reports created by the contractor (ASN Constructors) and other members of the RRVA team and provide feedback.
- Build and nurture positive relationships with representatives of various key stakeholder.
- Present information and updates to Fargo-Moorhead Metro Flood Diversion Authority and other stakeholders.
