Job Title: Locum Physician
Job Specialty: Non-Invasive Cardiology
Job Duration: 13 Months
Shift: Varied M-F; 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, plus 1-2 weekends per month
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Experience: Minimum years not specified
License: Ohio license required (will accept those willing to obtain)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, Board Certified in Cardiology
Must-Have: Availability for the listed schedule
Job Description:
- Provide coverage in an inpatient/call practice setting.
- Weekend call 1-2 weekends per month and possibly 1-2 times per week when not on call during the weekend.
- Average number of inpatient admissions per physician per day varies.
- Perform procedures including Treadmill Stress Tests, Electrical Cardioversions, Transesophageal Echocardiography, Echocardiography, Electrocardiograms (EKGs), Chemical Stress Tests, and MRI/CT Reads if possible.
- Work in a team with seven other cardiologists present during locum coverage.
- Patient demographic is adults aged 18 and up.
- Utilize EPIC for documentation and electronic medical records.
- Participate in credentialing, which may take 30-90 days.
- Travel reimbursement provided with lodging ~per night and all other bookings approved for standard/economy rates.
