You will be a Logistics Systems Analyst Sr Stf for Lockheed Martin in Fayetteville, NC, responsible for providing technical and research support to improve logistics systems and processes. What You Will Be Doing

As a Logistics Systems Analyst Sr Stf, you will be responsible for producing project plans to overcome shortcomings in existing systems and processes, and providing technical guidance and support to integrate business workflows and ensure data interoperability across the USASOC enterprise. You will work closely with our team to coordinate with supported units, supporting organizations, and program managers to ensure successful installation and maintenance of government off the shelf (GOTS) and commercial off the shelf (COTS) applications.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Produce project plans to overcome shortcomings in existing systems and processes
Provide technical guidance and support to integrate business workflows and ensure data interoperability across the USASOC enterprise
Coordinate with supported units, supporting organizations, and program managers to ensure successful installation and maintenance of GOTS and COTS applications
Provide guidance and support for USASOC applications integration specific to supported/supporting unit's business processes
Lead or participate in team development of web-enabled database driven applications
Plan, analyze, design, test, and communicate application solutions effectively
Read, interpret, and apply technical data processing manuals and related documents
Keep current with industry trends and developments by reading trade journals, newspapers, and magazines
Prepare clear and concise written communications and make oral presentations
Research technical manuals and guides to respond to questions and prioritize requests
Assist staff in the analysis and design of application software specific to acquisition and logistics
Conduct application and software testing to ensure accurate output
Supervise, support, and assist in planning, analysis, design, testing, and implementation of customized computer applications
Develop and coordinate project work plans, timelines, and deliverables for each phase of a project plan
Coordinate with staff regarding customer documentation, installation, and implementation of applications
Provide guidance and assist in the operation of various computer production systems
Coordinate with unit/department staff to analyze and determine printed and magnetic production output requirements
Develop and implement operational procedures that exceed baseline standards
Coordinate with unit/department staff and serve as the liaison to assess software and coordinate with staff and vendors regarding installation and modification of software applications

Basic Qualifications

Must possess a demonstrated mastery of the concepts, principles, and practices to perform logistics systems analysis management support in a military setting and have knowledge of standard military terminology, processes, and data interchange systems.
Extensive knowledge and working experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Access to perform required systems analysis on the Acquisition Logistical Management System/Ordnance Management System, (ALMS/OMS) and a working knowledge of the following existing applications to assist in future interfacing options:
Financial Execution Module (FEM)
Acquisition Program Management System (APMS)
Procurement Defense Desktop (PD2)
Ability to act independently with little supervision
Extensive communication skills required, both written and oral
Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, manage and assess electronic filing system
Excellent business management, organization and administrative skills
Willingness to work outside of normal 8-5 business hours as required.
Equivalent experience/education combinations are permitted based on the typical minimums required for this job which are 15 years of related experience and a bachelor's degree in a related discipline OR 13 years of related experience and a master's degree in a related discipline.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
