Roles and Responsibilities
- Function as team leader to meet tasking objectives and coordinate schedules and contract deliverables.
- Supervise logistics support efforts to keep all on-site and off-site test equipment operational and available for use by the Aegis Combat System (ACS) Developer
- Provide support to USN, MDA, FMS for urgent material requirements (CASREP)
- Liaison between US Government personnel (AEGIS TECHREP) and BAE Systems Inc. personnel
- Oversees site support team for test bed operations and material requests for the Fleet and for the Shipyards and Ad-Hoc customer requests i.e. data/metrics articulation
- Researching material availability to fill urgent test-bed requests, shipyard needs, and ad-hoc inquiries from TECHREP customer
- Author and maintain detailed MILSTRIP and Trouble Failure Report (TFR) trackers via Database Management (MS Excel)
- Oversees material coordination (interagency); serves as the link between Fleet and Site Support teams to ensure department coordination.
- Reviews and analyzes material stock levels/inventory and supporting special projects
- Educates junior and senior team members to determine material procurement process, communicate customer needs/requirements and screen for availability through authorized sources of supply
- Prepares and contributes reports and presentations for ATR customer and/or BAE leadership
- Analyzes, discerns and coordinates Integrated Logistics Support Task Planning Sheets (TPS) milestone events and project goals/deadlines with financial planners and leadership.
