Help Duties * You will write program policies in support of integrated logistics support (ILS) mission requirements. * You will develop logistic evaluation criteria to measure contractor's progress. * You will monitor, evaluate and coordinate the execution of integrated logistics support for major equipment/systems including expenditures and project cost using IMS schedule and reporting tools. * You will resolve integrated logistical support (ILS) problems by developing new approaches and procedure. * You will coordinate integrated logistical support (ILS) plans to support the activities of equipment and systems throughout the life-cycle. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Developing and implementing logistics product support and performance based logistic strategies; (2) Developing maintenance cards, training, provisioning support, logistics demonstrations, configuration support and technical editing; (3) Determining logistics support requirements and defining scope, determining interface requirements and performance criteria for planed equipment; (4) Monitoring, evaluating and coordinating the execution of integrated logistics support for major equipment/systems including expenditures and project cost using IMS schedule and reporting tools; (5) Determining theories and principles of Logistics Management, Product Support Strategies and of Integrated Logistics Systems (ILS) planning, to include the relationship of each of the Product Support Elements (PSE) to the overall program; (6) Knowledge of ILS planning principles and practices as they apply throughout DoD Systems Lifecycle Planning, along with a comprehensive knowledge of the administrative processes and documentation requirements of ILS Product Support requirements for each of the Lifecycle phases; (7) Demonstrates skills to plan, organize, and lead ILS planning study teams and to negotiate effectively with high level officials to accept and implement recommendations when proposals involve substantial agency resources, requirements for extensive changes and established work processes and operations, and/or entail conflicts with some functional elements and commands.
