Role and Responsibilities
Samsung Electronics America is looking for a Manager within our Customer Account Management team. In this role, the selected candidate will be an excellent communicator who's able to translate customer needs into cross functional actions and fulfill them. This role will maintain relationships across the logistics network and internal business partners to ensure shipments are delivered to the customer within the requested delivery window. This role will actively manage the logistics operations of SEA and identify areas for performance improvements.

The salary range for this role, for candidates based in California, is expected to be between $142,000 and $148,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.

Role and Responsibilities
Samsung Electronics America is looking for a Manager within our Customer Account Management team. In this role, the selected candidate will be an excellent communicator who's able to translate customer needs into cross functional actions and fulfill them. This role will maintain relationships across the logistics network and internal business partners to ensure shipments are delivered to the customer within the requested delivery window. This role will actively manage the logistics operations of SEA and identify areas for performance improvements.
Responsibilities
- Month end forecasting and planning
- Weekly RTF ownership, monitoring for delays
- Responsible for account management and meeting company MBO's
- Customer facing role representing logistics
- Resolve customer complaints quickly and effectively, while ensuring improvements are made to prevent repeat instances
- Cross-Departmental collaboration with internal business partners
- Manage orders for timely appointment setting, on-time shipping, on-time delivery, and reconcile exception issue
- Manage revenue recognition to meet monthly and quarter company goal
- Understand and ensure compliance to customer routing guides as required
- Manage, report, and provide action plan to support vendor score card target
- Generate weekly KPI and forecasting reports by working with the Samsung Supply Chain Team
- Respond to standard requests from internal and external customers
- Decision making within guidelines and policy
Requirements
- 5+ years of leadership experience in retail sales, supply chain, logistics, and customer account management
- Ability to identify the business needs driving client requests and translate into company objective
- 5+ years of experience with 3PL/carrier operations
- Acts with high integrity and understands proper business acumen
- Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and client relations
- Prior experience in project management
- Aptitude for fostering positive relationships
- Multi-level communication skills
- Must have advanced Microsoft Office Suite of PC software applications experience with Excel spreadsheet and PowerPoint preparation skills
- BS or BA in Supply Chain, Logistics, or similar field
- SAP experience is a plus
- Travel up to 20% - 30%
