Logistics Manufacturing Lead

JOB SUMMARY

The Logistics Manufacturing Lead is responsible for leading logistics associates in receiving/verifying process materials after they have been issued from the warehouse and transfer them to designated manufacturing areas to be available for use by manufacturing operations. Logistics Manufacturing Lead is also responsible to lead logistics associates for materials reconciliation and returns after completion of a batch and ASCTrac transactions for materials movement.

Job Responsibilities

• Single point of contact for MFG material scheduling and delivery coordination.
• Verification, pick-up, and kitting, of requested materials from the warehouse for manufacturing operations.
• Delivery of kitted materials to the necessary processing rooms in advance of manufacturing operations.
• Immediately identify and report all inbound damaged goods with necessary associated documentation
• Ensure proper labeling, handling, and storage of all chemicals used in the area. Ensure proper labeling and accumulation of hazardous waste in satellite areas, adhere to all safety requirements and follow safe procedures, immediately notifying management or Safety when unsafe conditions or potential hazards are found; attend all safety and health training, including handling hazardous waste, when necessary.

Minimum Requirements

• Demonstrated leader with high school diploma / GED with minimum 6 years' experience Warehouse/Logistics.
• Minimum 2 years pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and/or sterile production environments required
• Associates degree with minimum 4 years' experience Warehouse/Logistics.
• Bachelor's degree with minimum 3+ years' MFG/Warehouse/Logistics GMP experience Demonstrated competence in clean room environment practices with ability to train others
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Math Ability
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and push 200L drums on dollies into the manufacturing area.
• Standing for more than 2 hours is required along with the ability to carry materials and place them on transfer carts for movement.
• Ability to use E-mail, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine

Range: $74,000.00 / yr - $102,300.00 / yr
