SUMMARY

Maintains responsibility for executing and assisting in the development of national and retailer programs that support assigned Love Promise Community Commitment causes. Oversees a portfolio of nonprofit and for-profit partners connected to assigned Love Promise Community Commitment causes. Leads the coordination of marketing activities with various internal and external stakeholders to build awareness for the national and retailer programs that support the Subaru of America (SOA) goals of being More Than a Car Company and of our retailers being More Than a Car Dealer.

PRIMARY ESPONSIBILITIES
  • Executes the national and retailer programs related to assigned Love Promise Community Commitment causes by tracking deadlines, deliverables, and creating project statuses. Works cross-functionally with external agencies and internal Subaru of America (SOA) stakeholders including executives, Legal, Accounting, Corporate Social Responsibility, Field team, Corporate Communications, Risk Management, Customer Advocacy, Sales Training, and other internal teams. As applicable, handles legal agreements between SOA and partners, codes/tracks invoices, sources retailer donation items within allotted budget (reviews estimates and samples, tracks inventory, etc.), and coordinates retailer billing through SOA Accounting .
  • Acts as primary, day-to-day contact for nonprofit and for-profit partners, builds relationships with key stakeholders, and conducts regular stakeholder meetings. Ensures that contract deliverables are met, keeps partners accountable through collaboration, and optimizes mutual partnership benefits. Secures approval of materials from partners and coordinates review and approval of SOA materials from partners. Helps create resource and training materials for partners in preparation for campaign kickoffs and coordinates campaign recap meetings to review key reporting metrics and process opportunities for future programs.
  • Coordinates marketing activities for the national and retailer programs by partnering and strategizing with external agencies and Advertising team for implementation on various marketing channels, including Media, Corporate Communications, Social Media, Brand Partnerships, etc. Drafts creative briefs and presentations for campaign kickoffs and post-campaign recaps for future planning, providing insights and opportunities. Acts as reviewer and approver for marketing and promotional materials created for assigned Love Promise Community Commitment causes. Develops retailer point-of-purchase and digital materials with Advertising team and is involved in the process from conception to shipping/tracking.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with Field Marketing team on retailer communication, promotion, engagement, merchandising, and reporting of the national retailer programs. Spearheads annual retailer enrollment process (which includes creating enrollment questions, quality checking enrollment tool with external partner, and providing enrollment reporting to national partners). Drafts retailer and Field communications, such as announcements, frequently-asked questions (FAQs), presentations, and training materials, ensuring that platforms such as Subarunet are up to date. Acts as point person for Field or retailer questions about the programs, including monitoring the Love Promise inbox. Assists in the collection of assets from retailers and national partners, including impact statements, photos and videos, quotes and endorsement from retailers' local partners, etc. and works with stakeholders to promote the assets, as applicable.
  • When applicable, oversees assigned tasks to the department intern and/or contractor to ensure that deadlines are met and quality/accurate work is completed.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports the integration of the Love Promise Community Commitment team's participation in initiatives across the company. Prepares for, attends, and presents at various internal and external meetings and conferences (including booth planning/coordination when applicable). Collaborates with Corporate Social Responsibility on SOA employee volunteer activities, Auto Shows & Events team on external volunteer activities, Brand Partnerships team on integration of our causes with other partners, and Sales Training team to support alignment on Customer Commitment strategies.
  • Maintains up-to-date impact reporting documents for each assigned Love Promise Community Commitment cause, and works closely with Field Marketing team on retailer-level scorecards and data integrations to track individual historical impacts.
  • Translates national and retailer program success across various organization levels, including executives, Marketing, Corporate Social Responsibility, Corporate Communications, Customer Advocacy, Legal, Risk Management, Field teams, and other internal teams. When applicable, provides training to internal and external stakeholders about the Love Promise Community Commitment.
  • Applies continuous improvement to existing programs and partners by finding more significant Return on Investment (ROI), leveraging partner benefits, exploring new mutual benefits, and finding greater efficiencies.
  • Uses research, data, and trends to inform decisions and evolve the programs and partnerships.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Excellent project management skills; ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects efficiently with attention to detail, and demonstrates the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills; clear, concise, and effective communication skills, and comfortable with creating and delivering impactful presentations to stakeholders.
  • Proven collaboration and relationship-building skills: ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (including executives), foster a cooperative work environment, and establish/maintain positive professional relationships both internally and externally.
  • Capability to work independently and be proactive and reliable in managing personal workload while maintaining accountability for project outcomes.
  • Creativity and problem-solving skills; comfortable brainstorming and generating new ideas to improve processes or overcome obstacles.
  • Understanding of the automotive industry, Field operations, retailer (dealership) operations, or experience related to these areas preferred.
  • Experience with nonprofits, marketing, cause marketing, brand partnerships, or experience related to these areas preferred.


WORK ENVIORNMENT
  • Travel: 20%

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 4-Year College Degree (BA, BS) and 4-6 years' experience

COMPENSATION: The recruiting base salary range for this full-time position is $70000 - $99900 / year. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. (Internal Job Grade: P2)
