Summary of Position:
The Compression Specialist oversees the operations at the compression station and is responsible for training and guiding all LPI personnel, including Equipment Operators, Drivers, and Crew Leads, while maintaining high safety standards with optimal efficiency. This role involves managing all maintenance activities for the compression station, including coordination with vendors and third-party contractors as necessary to ensure equipment meets operational goals. Regular communication with Dispatchers, the Logistic Coordinator, and the District Manager is essential. Safety leadership is a crucial aspect of this position, involving the facilitation of safety meetings and ensuring compliance with all industry regulations regarding CNG equipment.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- It is a condition of employment to pass the CNG certification from the Railroad Commission of Texas.
- Knowledgeable with all CNG equipment (including Compressors and Pressure reduction systems), tools, and services offered in the districts.
- Knowledge of natural gas composition/gas quality, measurement facilities and gas treatment equipment.
- Able to perform all CNG related tasks as needed.
- Passion for safety and always making sure it is top priority.

- Promptly identifies and addresses challenges at the compression station to minimize disruptions in the supply chain.
- Provides training and guidance to LPI personnel at the compression station.
- Continuously monitors trailer payloads to identify opportunities for process optimization and implements continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
- Plans and supervises maintenance activities to ensure the CNG facility is in optimal condition.
- Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment failures, work orders, and equipment history.
- Maintains regular communication with the LPI District Manager and Logistic Coordinator to ensure smooth and complete operations.
- Stays updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices.
- Coordinates with Dispatchers to ensure accurate completion of BOL and transportation documents required for each load.
- Oversees and maintains assigned equipment according to service operating procedures.
- Monitors and reports key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of compression station throughput.
- Ensures compliance with local regulations and codes governing the facility.
- Performs all duties in compliance with company policies and procedures to meet applicable industry regulations.
- Maintains required safety equipment certifications and ensures all equipment is fit for job conditions.
- Leads safety meetings to identify risks and hazards effectively.
