We are looking for a NOC shift Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) professional with a sincere heart for elder care!

Hiring Immediately! $44.00 - $48.00 per hour.

About Us: Franke Tobey Jones is a not for profit organization located in Tacoma's historic North End. As a Continuing Care Retirement Community, we offer Independent Living residences, Assisted Living options, Skilled Nursing Health Care and Memory Care units.

Job duties include:

• Assess resident needs; administer medications; and make timely recommendations
• Administer treatment applications including, but are not limited to: taking and recording of vital signs, collecting fluid samples, dressing of wounds, etc.
• Monitor, update, teach and train Aides
• Maintain medical records on residents

Other duties as assigned including, but are not limited to:

• Interacting with family members and peers regarding resident condition
• Responding to incoming telephone calls
• Monitoring supplies and usage with cost control in mind

Shift: We currently have an immediate NOC shift opening in Skilled Nursing.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse / RN OR Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN license in good standing is required
• DSHS Dementia and Mental Health certification preferred
• PCC experience a plus
• Current CPR and experience with the elderly highly desired
• Long Term Care experience is preferred
