Description:
As the Lean Six Sigma Champion, you will Build a Culture of Operational Excellence and guide improvements through direct support and interaction within your assigned locations. Together with the Americas CI Director and Plant Managers, you will ensure the continuous improvement strategy and New Way of Working projects that align with PPG's goals. You will promote Standard Work and Implement systems associated with Continuous Improvement, the portfolio of Kaizen projects, and ongoing certification of personnel.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze Strategic Goals to establish potential projects that contribute to tangible results across multiple sites or locations.
- Manage internal Campaigns or Programs that strengthen the implementations of Continuous Improvement tools and systems.
- Develop Internal Change Agents by coaching project leaders in the deployment of Lean Six Sigma methodology; manage the regional project portfolio (Kaizen, DMAIC, PDCA, Just Do It); and coordinate support training when needed.
- Lead the internal Continuous Improvement committee to review the progress of each area (Ideas Implemented, 5S, Savings, Lean Maturity Assessment Score, etc.) and support monthly validations of savings generated by ongoing projects.
- Help implement Improvement projects, workshops, and best practices to increase productivity, eliminate waste, reduce costs and standardize operations.
- Promote local staff participation in the generation and implementation of improvement ideas.
- Facilitate communication between management and work teams.
- Travel to assigned facilities can range from 40%-60%
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical) or equivalent.
- 5+ Years' experience in continuous improvement, Lean Six Sigma, Operational Excellence.
- Minimum of Green Belt certification required, Black Belt preferred.
- Strong knowledge in Lean Manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma Methodologies
