The Division of Transplant Medicine, Department of Medicine, University of Calgary is seeking a full-time Lung Transplant Respirologist to join the Southern Alberta Lung Transplant Program in Calgary, Alberta.
The successful candidate will have an academic position with interests in research, teaching and patient care activities. Advanced training and/or substantial clinical experience in lung transplantation is required for this position. Applicants must be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor (or higher) at the University of Calgary.
The successful candidate will join our existing group of 6 transplant respirologists supported by a large multidisciplinary team including nurse practitioners, nurse coordinators, allied health professionals, and administrative staff. Clinical responsibilities will include pre- and post-transplant patient care including clinics, bronchoscopies and attending on our inpatient service and outpatient clinics.
The successful applicant will be eligible for cross-appointment to the Division of Pulmonary Medicine. In turn, this will allow the successful candidate to participate in outpatient and inpatient pulmonary care for up to 50% of their clinical time, if so inclined.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate must hold a MD degree or equivalent, be certified (or eligible for certification) in Respirology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and hold, or be eligible for licensure in Alberta.
