We are hiring for an M&A Manager. The M&A Manager will be a vital member of the team working with senior brokers to originate new business and to work with mid- and junior-level team members on strategic assignments and assisting clients with the execution of the entire mergers and acquisitions process. This person will be running M&A deals from start to finish, while working to make a significant impact on the lives of small business owners.

This is a full-time position offering a base salary of $80,000-$100,000 and performance-based incentives, with total on-target earnings (OTE) of $200,000 per year, plus early equity. Iconic offers full benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance. The M&A Manager role is based out of Southern California, with the expectation that this person will go into the West Hollywood office several days a week.

Responsibilities:
Manage and execute, from initiation to close, mergers & acquisition transactions of companies originated by you and our internal team assigned to you. Your specific responsibilities will include:
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing strategic advice to maximize value.
- Analyze company financials and determine enterprise value.
- In collaboration with your team, develop compelling marketing materials: teasers, Confidential Information Memorandum (CIM), and pitch decks.
- Work with our data engineers to identify a universe of potential buyers utilized to optimize the auction process.
- Analyze offers and vet buyers to select the most suitable offer for our client.
- Coordinate introductions between sellers and buyers and actively participate in negotiations.
- Lead the due diligence process, coordinating meetings with attorneys, CPAs, diligence teams, and principals providing input in deal structuring.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors to ensure seamless transaction execution.
- Recruit and interview future team members to expand the team.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, preferably in a consultancy or financial services environment.
- 4-year Bachelor's degree.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a proven track record in deal management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- High emotional intelligence and ability to manage relationships
- Strong work ethic.
- Highly motivated, confident, professional, and coachable.
- Able to handle multiple projects with competing priorities.
- Good judgment in confidential situations and ability to exercise discretion.
- Flexibility and willingness to work outside normal business hours, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant professional licenses: FINRA 79 or 7, and 63 or 65.
- California Real Estate License
- Proficiency with Capital IQ or PitchBook.
