Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day tactical execution of security projects, including detailed analytics of security data.
• Act as a subject matter expert on Mainframe Security Systems (ACF2, TSS, RACF) within vulnerability management projects.
• Utilize zSecure Audit to assess and strengthen mainframe security (7-10 years of experience required).
• Leverage z/OS ACF2/TSS/RACF STIGs to drive hardening efforts and security improvements.
• Guide projects on asset modeling, security documentation, and compliance standards.
• Develop and implement security standards for z/OS hardening, security controls, and vulnerability remediation.
• Provide training and day-to-day support on homegrown vulnerability management tools.
• Bridge communication between mainframe engineering and information security teams to ensure alignment on security initiatives.
• Conduct z/OS security consulting and penetration testing (preferred).
• Document security processes and maintain compliance records.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in Mainframe Security (ACF2, TSS, RACF).
• 7-10 years of experience with zSecure Audit for security assessments.
• Proficiency in Mainframe REXX, IBM SYNC SORT, and ICETOOL.
• Experience with z/OS vulnerability management and security consulting.
• Strong knowledge of z/OS security standards, controls, and remediation.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• z/OS ACF2 or TSS (10+ years) of hands-on experience.
• Exposure to vulnerability management and security best practices.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint.
• Background in z/OS security consulting and penetration testing.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate complex security issues into actionable solutions.

Education Requirements:

• BS Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field OR 15+ years of Mainframe Security experience.
