Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Conyers, GA

Workstyle: onsite

Salary: $90k-$110k (DOE)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment and systems within a manufacturing environment. Your goal will be to ensure the continuous operation of critical equipment, minimize downtime, and enhance overall production efficiency.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Diagnose and address equipment failures, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
• Restore malfunctioning equipment to full working order quickly and efficiently.
• Plan and schedule preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
• Perform troubleshooting on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and other control systems.
• Identify and resolve potential issues before they lead to equipment failures or production delays.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures during maintenance tasks.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, particularly in manufacturing environments.
• Proficient in repairing and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Solid experience in PLC troubleshooting and programming.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with industrial equipment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment to ensure optimal system performance.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and solve problems under pressure.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED certificate (required).
• Technical training in maintenance engineering, electrical, or industrial systems (preferred).
• Coursework or certification in mechanical engineering, electrical and electronic engineering technology, or equipmentmaintenance engineering (preferred).
• 5-10 years relevent experience
