Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and machinery are functioning efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize downtime. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to manage a team of maintenance technicians effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures, strategies, and programs to ensure reliability and efficiency of equipment.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of maintenance technicians and contractors, including scheduling and assigning tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments of machinery, systems, and infrastructure to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Plan and oversee preventive maintenance activities to minimize equipment breakdowns and operational disruptions.
  • Monitor equipment performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary for maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance operations.
  • Collaborate with production teams to prioritize maintenance needs and schedule downtime for repairs.
  • Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, tracking expenses and optimizing spending.
  • Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices, safety procedures, and equipment operation.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC systems.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance management.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to manufacturing operations.
  • Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in maintenance management (e.g., CMRP) or related field.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO).
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
